The Origin Of Family – God Has A Family

THE central metaphor that God uses to describe our relationship with Him throughout the Bible is that of a FAMILY.
God the father.
Jesus the son.
We’re called the beloved sons and daughters of God.
We’re encouraged to treat each other as brothers and sisters.

AND YET…all this language and imagery is set against the backdrop of broken family after broken family.
This is no accident. This is an intentional and holy juxtaposition that God uses to help us see what IS and what COULD BE.

And if you wonder what God thinks about you…feels about you…make sure you watch to the end of the message.
